Before coming to Jessie’s Place, her life felt out of control. As a single mother with spiraling debt, and a looming eviction, she couldn’t see a way out of her dire circumstances, that is, until she spent some time in our program.
“During my time at Jessie’s Place, I got a lot of stuff accomplished! I paid all my debt off and was able to save. I built up a healthy relationship with my kids, and God gave me a job at a restaurant that works around my schedule [with the kids.] I even have stable housing now! Everything has fallen into place because I yielded to God, and he began to increase and develop me into the woman I am today.”
